TONY BREWER, a Bloomington, Indiana resident, is a poet, audio artist, and event producer with an impressive body of work spanning 12 books and chapbooks, including Hot Type Cold Read, Homunculus, Pity for Sale, Fragile Batteries, and Good Job, Lightning. A multiple Pushcart Prize nominee and Indiana State Poet Laureate finalist, Tony has received numerous accolades, including the Angela Lansbury Award for his foley work and the Bradshaw Award from the American Society for Science Fiction Audio. Named Indiana’s 2024 Literary Champion by the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana Author Awards, Tony brings his unique blend of poetry and sound to life. At this event, Tony will offer his signature “Poetry on Demand,” creating custom poems based on audience suggestions, typed up on a vintage typewriter in just 10-15 minutes.
